We are Recruiting – Toolmaker/Fitter

The Exact Group operates from a 72,000 sq. ft modern facility on the outskirts of Newry, County Down. Operating in two distinct areas, Composites and CNC, the company offers a range of high-quality services, primarily providing a Rapid Response (Speed Shop) service to a range of industries.

Due to continued growth, we are currently recruiting a Toolmaker/Fitter to join our growing and experienced team.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in the setting and operation manual lathes, milling centres and all associated equipment.

Essential

• Can demonstrate a proven ability in the safe use and operation of manual lathes and milling machines
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures and responsibilities
• Experience in metal fabrication and forming would be an advantage

Personality Requirements

• Proactive attitude to work, with a good eye for detail
• Conscientious and responsible
• Comfortable working in a team-based environment
