The Exact Group is a Certified Applicator of Cerakote Ceramic Coating. Cerakote is the highest performing ceramic coating on the market and is known for its durability, corrosion resistance to environmental exposure and aesthetic finish. It is a specialised protective finish that can be applied to multiple substrates including ferrous and non-ferrous metals, alloys, polymers, composites, wood and plastics.
Cerakote’s single layer ceramic coating spray is only 20-50 microns in thickness, and is composed of a polymer-ceramic compound, which replaces multi-layer paint and powder coating systems. It offers ultra-lightweight coverage and protection and provides a thermal barrier and heat dissipation.
Available in over 200 RAL colours, with the ability to colour match to customer requirements, Cerakote ceramic paint coating can be used in industries ranging from automotive to aerospace and from consumer to defence.
The key benefits of Cerakote Ceramic Coating:
- Unmatched abrasion resistance withstanding impact, scratch and gouging better than other coating systems.
- It is a corrosion protective coating that can withstand temperatures of up to 1000 degree celsius without spalling, cracking or flaking.
- Superior chemical resistance to hydraulic fluids, fuels, solvents, acids, de-icing products and commercial strength disinfectants.
- UV Stability protecting substrates from oxidation and degradation.
- It can be used as an alternative to plating and pre-treatments replacing anodising and nickel plating, and eliminating the need and expense of primers.
Cerakote is an industry performance leader against:
- Salt Spray Corrosion – ASTM B117
- Abrasion Test – ASTM D4060
- Chemical Resistance – 24hr Submersion Test
- Hardness – ASTM D3363
- Adhesion – ASTM D3359
- Durability
- Impact Resistance – ASTM D2794
- 45˚ Flammability – 14 CFR 25.853(a)
- Toxicity – Boeing BSS7239 A
- Smoke Density – AITM 2.0007B

“We are excited to announce that we have fully trained the Exact Group and welcomed them into our Certified Cerakote Applicator Network. The training was completed by the Exact Group’s skilled painters at its facility in Newry, Northern Ireland, which is optimising application techniques and adjusting skills sets to really get the best of our Cerakote.”
